When you’re a child your mother will smack your hand if you get to close to fire, saying “No! Stay away from there!” And we grow up with this association between fire and pain. Yet at the same time we are still drawn to the flames that grow up out of a fire.

This is an example of what happens to a man when God redeems his life and calls him Son. Through the process of the trials and tribulations that happen when He purifies him in flames. Not only that but giving him eyes to see and ears to hear what The Lord is doing.

My only plan of action is to act as a vessel of grace. Giving freely what The Lord asks of me and honoring those in charge of me. To hear what The Father is doing and follow where He is going is my only option.
